Claim your function
Pick one Excel function and one presentation week for the semester. First come, first serve: once a function is claimed in your section, it is gone. You get exactly one claim.
Open the board
Given out in class so only our students can use the board. If you scanned the QR code in class, it is already filled in.
Section (both meet Tue/Thu)
One claim per student, checked by email. Your change code is shown after you claim.
Privacy: only your name and university email are stored, and only for this sign-up. Classmates see just your first name and last initial. Your email is visible only to Dr. Lu, and everything is deleted after the semester.
1. Pick a week
Weeks hold 2 to 5 claims per section, lighter in assessment and final-review weeks. Each card shows what the class is learning that week. At least one presenter is drawn at random in class each week, and a second may be drawn if time allows.
2. Pick a function
⭐ means the function connects to a topic on our syllabus. The function itself will not be taught in lecture: your demo is where the class learns it, and stars make no difference to your grade. 365 means it needs Microsoft 365 or Excel 2021+, which every lab computer and your student Office license has. Claimed functions grey out as classmates take them.
Manage my claim (change or release)
Releasing frees your function and week so you can claim again. Works until sign-up closes; after that, email Dr. Lu.

Write down your change code (or screenshot this page). You need it to change or release your claim, and it is only shown here. Submit your demo file in GeorgiaView by your claimed week. Each week, at least one submitter per section is drawn at random to present live for about 3 minutes, and a second may be drawn if time allows.
Need to change it? Use "manage my claim" on the board any time before sign-up closes. After that, changes go through Dr. Lu.
